Mr. Spears began his real estate career in 1986 with Portman-Barry, a local Atlanta brokerage firm and joined Colliers International in Atlanta in 1991. His primary focus is corporate services integrating financial analysis and modeling. This process adds significant value to his client’s real estate decision making.

Mr. Spears has represented SP Recycling, Macy’s, Hartsfield Warehouse Company, Sonoco, Mitsubishi, Bunzl, DSC Logistics, Norfolk Southern, JM Smucker, Safelite Glass and COSTCO. He has completed lease/sale transactions representing more than 25,000,000 square feet.

Mr. Spears has represented several major owners at their various industrial projects throughout the metro Atlanta area. Specifically, he has represented over 15,000,000 square feet of industrial space for Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois, First Industrial, Clarion, Seefried

Properties, Archon Group, TA Associates and Prologis.

He has completed over 40 build-to-suit assignments and site selection is an integral part of his business helping clients acquire over 3,000 acres of land for various projects. Mr. Spears has extensive experience with construction/build-to-suit projects.
